Long distance racer Pierre Kaffer got one of two racing highlights of this season ahead of him. The experienced German starts at the withsun weekend 17.-20.05.2013 in a Porsche 911 GT3 R for Team Timbuli Racing at the famous 24hr race at the Nürburgring. After the Podium Place at the last VLN-Race, he is expecting good chances of success at this classic race in the Eifel. The sympathetic racer grew up in the Eifel and sees this as his home track.

P3 for Pierre Kaffer`s team in Le Mans
The 24h race Le Mans ended with P3 in the LMP2 category for the Pecom Racing Team around Pierre Kaffer, Luis Perez Companc and Soheil Ayari. The Oreca 03 Nissan with the starting number #49 proved to be supremely reliable during the race and with this result the team did a giant step forward in the ranking of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and it is there now on P3 too.

Podium for Pierre Kaffer at the opening of the WEC
The 12h race of Sebring which took place with a large starting field as the opening for the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) as well as for the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) on the 17th of March, ended for Pierre Kaffer and the Pecom Racing Team with P3 in the LMP2 category of the WEC.
