The American Le Mans Series (ALMS) is a sports car racing series based in the United States and Canada. It consists of a series of endurance and sprint races, and was created in the spirit of the 24 hours of Le Mans.
The legendary 1000-kilometres-Races of the 70th are revived in the LMS Series. The incentive to participate is huge for the teams because during the race meetings the teams can achieve starting positions for the 24h Le Mans.
The ADAC-Zurich-24-h-Race Nürburgring is a 24h race for more than 200 touring cars which takes place on the more than 20km Nürburgring Nordschleife since 1970.
